Get the superteam dingers

To get the superteam dingers in batting practice go into batting practice. Next go to the player select. All at once press R1 + R2 + L1 + L2. If you do this right the screen should switch to the dingers team.

Extra squads

To unlock the Dingers and the Islanders, and to have them under the 1990’s teams, enter the exhibition mode. After that, repeat pressing L2 + R2 until you hear a sound.

Always steal second base

Get a baserunner on first and third base. Attempt to steal second base and the CPU will always throw to third base.

Super fastball

Pitch with Randy Johnson and select his fastball. Aim it as low as it can go in the strike zone. Hold X (his fastball) and bring it up towards the middle of the strike zone. The pitch will as fast as 100 to 105 mph.

Mr. Met

If you play at Shea Stadium. In between innings you would see Mr. Met dancing on top of the Mets Dugout.

Aluminum bats

To get aluminum bats enter in the cheat area: Hollow bats. Now aluminum bats will be available.

Extra Jerseys

In exhibition mode press L1+L2 at the same time to enable alternate jerseys.

Easy Stealing

Whenever you have a man on 1st and 3rd steal 2nd because your opponent always will throw to 3rd! Have Fun Stealing!

Get Austin Dingers in Batting Practice

If you want to unlock the Austin Dingers in batting practice then press L2+R2+L1+R1 simultaneously. It wont make any sound and will be right next to the Cooperstown Legends.

Bonus Teams

Enter exhibition mode, then repeatedly press L2+R2 until the sound of a dong is heard. The Dingers and Islanders will now be selectable under 90 teams.

Unlock Freq Parts

Beat the boss song of any level to unlock extra Freq parts.

Blur Mode

While playing a game, press R3(4), L3(4), R3.

Monkey Head Gems

While playing a game, press L3(4), R3(4), L3 to get monkey head gems.

Tunnel/Tempest Mode

While playing a game, press L3(3), R3(3), L3, R3, L3 to get a Tunnel style view. Enter the code again to get a Tempest style view.

Scramble Gem Positions

During gameplay, press X, X, LEFT, LEFT, R3, R3, RIGHT, RIGHT to switch up the gem positions.

Black panel surfaces

Press R3, L3, R3(2), L3, R3, L3(2), R3 during game play. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Start a new game to have black panels.

Fast freestyle

If and when the freestyle line is straight and not meshy, hold Square and hold Right Analog-stick Right. If the freestyle line is blotchy and sprinkly, this will not work.

Maximum combos

When in freestyle mode, have someone else hold Square, Triangle, or Circle while you jiggle the Left Analog-stick as fast as possible.

Invisible Track

While playing a game, press L3, R3, L3, L3, R3, L3, R3, R3, L3. Then pause and choose exit. Then re-enter a level and the track will be invisible.

Bonus stuff

This only works on the Award Edition. On the second disc select Bonus Materials from the Main Menu. Go to the second page and select Now Showing. The following movies will be pictured: Apollo 13, The Family man, K-Pax, and Patch Adams. Underneath each are a film icon and a disc icon. Select the film icon to view trailers, select the disc icon for either behind-the-scenes or an outtake.
